I recently read Unfiltered by Lily Collins and I have to say: I was blown away. I’m not a fan of ‘celebrity’ books but after hearing so many wonderful reviews, I decided to pick Unfiltered up—despite believing that I never would.
And I am SO glad I did. I got heaps out of this book, and adored it equally. I also found out pretty quickly that it wasn’t one of those ‘celebrity’ books. Continue reading

I have been thinking a lot about self-care lately. Now, let’s be clear: I’m not talking about that kind of self-care. I’m talking about looking after yourself, even in the smallest of ways, and the fact that sometimes the best way to do that, is to do nothing.
March was a month of working on book edits, travelling, listening to Beyonce’s Lemonade, catching up with friends, and enduring the last of the warm weather before Autumn arrives. (I am so ready for winter!)
I am no longer a Paris virgin.
When people ask me if I liked Paris, my general response is ‘ummm’. It’s not that I didn’t love it. I did. But circumstances were just not on my side. I was poorly: sore throat, cough, cold and then a stomach bug. By the end of the week I was ready to leave.
